Galápagos penguins are the northernmost penguin species and are endemic to the equatorial Galápagos archipelago.

Pink meanies were first classified in 2010 when scientists realised that they belonged to an entirely new jelly family: Drymonema, a subgroup of true jellies. There are currently only three described species, with the South African species still in the process of being classified! For now, our South African pink meanie is known as Drymonema sp.

The PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) course provides divers with the skills needed to assess an emergency medical situation and respond accordingly, and provide treatment and support for a range of life-threatening and minor injuries that can occur when diving. This course will equip you with the knowledge to perform a range of first aid procedures, such as CPR, stopping bleeding, and patient monitoring, as well as the confidence to use these skills appropriately and confidently.

The Two Oceans Aquarium offers a job shadow programme for Grade 9 to 12 learners. This programme is intended to give youths that would like to one day work in the marine science environment, marine conservation or an attraction like the Aquarium an idea of what to expect from their future career.
