We are giving in-love (or in-like) couples a unique opportunity to spend the most romantic day of the year – Valentine’s Day – at the most romantic place in Cape Town – the Two Oceans Aquarium. This is a special chance to visit the fish after dark, and an opportunity to impress your date in a very exclusive way - intimate dinners-for-two in front of your favourite Aquarium exhibits.

Prices range from R1 250 to R2 150 per couple depending on which dining spot you select (details below).*

What's on the menu?
Couples' dinner tables will be set up throughout the Aquarium, under the beautiful light of the I&J Ocean Exhibit, in the majestic ambience of the Save Our Seas Foundation Shark Exhibit, as well as one exclusive table at the most romantic spot in the Aquarium, the exclusive Kelp Forest Exhibit viewing pit for one couple only. Couples can enjoy a freshly made platter-style dinner, lovingly prepared by Head Chef Lucio De Allende. All of our food offerings are certified Halaal by the Muslim Judicial Council of South Africa.
Canapés:
Served on arrival, with welcome drink.
- Camembert and fig spring roll
- Lamb skewers in a sweet curry glaze
Main - Surf and turf platter for two:
- Feta basil and tomato crusted
- Local Cape hake bake, drizzled with a basil butter sauce
- Grilled and sliced beef sirloin served with mushroom sauce and peppercorn sauce
- Local mussels in a creamy wild garlic and lemon sauce
- Fragrant rice with fried fennel and red onion
- Roast chicken in a sticky orange and thyme glaze
- Oven baked potatoes
- Roast tomato basil tart
- House salad fresh greens feta, olives, onions dressed in a sweet tangy dressing.
