Join Wildlife Management Programme Coordinator Brett Glasby for an exciting online Q&A about the wild seals that live in the V&A Waterfront.
Brett will be answering any questions you may have around seal rescues, their welfare and the human and animal interactions within the V&A Waterfront harbour. For over 25 years, Brett has worked with animals and towards their ongoing welfare, and wherever possible Brett tries to share this love and passion for animals with those around him. After all, we share our city with animals, they truly are our neighbours. For a R50 donation to the Two Oceans Aquarium Foundation, you can ask Brett anything you like about his work!
“I am passionate about South Africa’s rich wildlife heritage and its conservation. I believe animals are the perfect symbols of hope and light as they take every situation they find themselves in and adapt. They do not get down or look to the past, they find a way to survive and thrive no matter what. I am most passionate about animals that are poorly understood and sometimes even feared, I believe these animals need a champion, a warrior in their corner. There is so much we can learn as humans by looking to the animal world and understanding how animals never give up,” says Brett.
Be sure to join Brett online and find out more about the work his team with the Two Oceans Aquarium Foundation does with Cape fur seals, and other animals, in the V&A Waterfront by joining us online 28 April, at 18h00.
