One of the most popular activities at the Aquarium, feeding times are opportunities to watch your favourite animals enjoy a delicious meal while you learn more about them.
Here are the animals that you can watch being fed weekly:
Ragged-tooth sharks:
Arguably the most exciting feeding time at the Two Oceans Aquarium is of the ragged-tooth sharks in the Save Our Seas Foundation Shark Exhibit! Every Saturday at 12h00, our scuba divers enter the exhibit to feed our ragged-tooth sharks lots of yummy hake! Viewers at the impressive main window can ask questions and learn about the lifestyles of sharks.

African penguins:
The African penguins are some of the cutest residents at the Two Oceans Aquarium. Every day at 11h30 and 14h30, the colony is fed delicious meals of fish by our Penguin Keepers. And, while you watch the African penguins enjoy their meal, you can learn about their habits, lifestyles, and the risks they face in the wild.

Stingrays:
The I&J Ocean Exhibithouses vibrant fish, majestic stingrays, and impressive musselcrackers. With its enormous viewing window, this exhibit is the best place to watch our scuba divers hand-feed the stingrays and larger fish. At 12h00 thrice weekly, the I&J Ocean Exhibitinhabitants are fed delicious meals by our divers while they answer any questions you may have from inside the Exhibit!

Kelp forest fish:
The Kelp Forest Exhibitis the only above-ground kelp forest on the continent – the perfect opportunity to learn about this uniquely South African ecosystem. Numerous unique species call the Kelp Forest Exhibit home – many are endemic to South Africa. These fish are fed by drop-feeding, meaning that this is the perfect place to witness a feeding frenzy!
The Kelp Forest Exhibit feeds are on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays at 12h00.
