Interacting with the underwater world is what the Two Oceans Aquarium is all about! From this point of view, we get to glimpse life from the perspective of the fish, rays, sharks and other ocean denizens that call the Aquarium home – and get a better understanding of what the natural ocean habitat is like.

Freediving
Freediving is a fast-growing, accessible way for Capetonians to get active and explore the underwater world – but many newcomers to the hobby are uncertain about where to begin. The Two Oceans Aquarium Dive School offers PADI-certified Freediver courses, which are an ideal way to learn to freedive safely and get familiar with techniques used by seasoned freedivers to explore the underwater world for longer.
PADI Freediver Courses make excellent gifts for adventurous souls, and an Advanced Freediver Course is ideal for those wanting to take their hobby to the next level.
Feeding Times
Not everyone wants to get wet to see the quirks and intricacies of ocean animals. Visiting the Two Oceans Aquarium during our daily feeding times is the perfect chance to see your favourite animal in action during their favourite time of the day (who doesn’t love lunchtime?)
Watch as our team of Reef wetsuit-clad divers enter your favourite exhibits and interact with your favourite animals – sharks, rays, schools of fish and more!
Scuba Diving
The ultimate underwater experience – scuba diving gives you the time and freedom to explore the ocean at your own pace. The Two Oceans Aquarium offers a wide variety of scuba diving experiences for all levels of experience – and the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience is the perfect first step below the waves for anyone scuba-curious!
For those who want to make scuba diving a life-long hobby, put on your Reef wetsuit and hop on over to our Dive School; we offer the full range of PADI Open Water Diver courses, speciality skills courses and advanced training for those who want to get the most out of their diving pastime.
